ANTALYA OLD TOWN, ARCHAEOLOGY MUSEUM & DUDEN WATERFALLS
We will begin our tour in the old town of Antalya. After brief information about Antalya from the terrace overlooking the Old Town, we will walk within its surrounding Byzantine city walls and through the historical monuments from different periods, wooden Ottoman Houses towards the Marina. We will continue to the upper Duden Waterfalls and visit the great waterfalls with a short tea/coffee break. We will continue to the coastal Duden waterfalls where the same river falls into the Mediterranean from 30 meters. Lunch will be at a local restaurant near the waterfall. We will continue to the museum. We will have a small lecture about Antalya and the surroundings and visit the Antalya Archaeological Museum where finds from nearby ancient cities and prehistoric caves are displayed including an ethnographical section. We will have tea and coffee at the museum before we return to our hotel.
Tour details : This tour includes visits with flat ground The upper Duden waterfall has slippery ground. Museum is entirely indoors. No hiking or walks on rough surfaces.
