This tour is an ideal tour for everyone who loves nature and archaeology as well as unspoiled beautiful landscapes, away from tourist routes. The region of Pisidia is located in the Taurus Mountain range, and the ancient cities figure in a wildly beautiful mountain landscape. However, they are rarely visited and therefore an easy target for looting.
Equinox Travel & BIAA have worked on the Pisidia Heritage Trail project since 2013 and builds on results of the Pisidia Archaeological Survey Project directed by Stephen Mitchell and Lutgarde Vandeput.
The resulting long-distance walking trail is ca 350 kilometers long and connects 9 archaeological sites as well as picturesque mountain villages. Many of the walking paths reflect ancient roads in the area. The trail is designed to attract hikers and nature lovers, adventurers in general, and to increase benefits for the communities who live by these ruins. This in turn is expected to result in increased protection of the sites by the local communities against illicit digging.
Day 1 / 09 Oct Wed / Arrival Ariassos - Sia
Arrive to Antalya airport latest at 10:00 am and meet at the airport with your guide. Today we will walk the ancient trail from Ariassos to Sia via Panemoteichos. We will visit both Ariassos and Sia walk the beautiful trail in the afternoon. Dinner on your own and overnight Vib Best Western Hotel.

Day 2 / 10 Oct Thursday / Sia - Kocain / Milyos
Today we will walk the beautiful trail from Sia to Kocain Cave. Visit the Kocain Cave and Melli Ancient city, where we will see a great sanctuary of Apollo. Dinner on your own and overnight Sagalassos Lodge.

Day 3 / 11 Oct Friday / Adada - Koprulu Canyon
Today we will drive to Adada ancient city, after visiting the city we will walk one of the best preserved ancient paved roads. Continue to famous Koprulu Canyon, and walk down the Canyon to Yerkopru. Dinner on your own and overnight Koprulu Canyon.

Day 4 / 12 Oct Saturday / Delisarnıç – Çaltepe / Koprulu Canyon
Today we will drive to Delisarnic and take the ancient trail from Delisarnic to Caltepe. We will follow the ancient trails for most of the time during this hike. Dinner and overnight at Bungalows Erdinc Pension or Perge.(B/L/D)

Day 4 / 13 Oct Sunday / Selge - Pednelissos / Departure
Today we will visit Selge and walk the beautiful trail from Selge to Pednelissos Visit Pednelissos and drive to Antalya airport around 19:00.
